Nice 3 kills, but stupidity happened in the 2nd race. Would you rather win, and risk getting hurt, or hurting someone else in the same act? Or lose, asking for another run, and tell the *** to stay on his side of the road. Just use your head a little more than going off the tarmac onto a dirt trail.

Nice kills, you should beat the Chevelle too.

A lot of people at my school have mommy and daddy built cars. Most just bull **** though.

I find it funny when kids say they have a lot of power or their car is turbo or supercharged when it isn't. One kid told me he had a turbo on his Thunderbird. Having a Thunderbird before my Camaro I knew it is very hard to accomplish in that engine bay. I told him to show me and he didn't have anything in there. Bone stock 4.6 bird that are slow as hell. Laughed my *** off.

how did he get the 410 hp number? the 454 could either be a boat anchor pullout POS that really makes under 300hp, or maybe he's being modest...its hard to build a 454 that makes under 450 crank hp unless you're trying lol

and heavy it may be but torque will be readily available , if you're lucky it will be too available and result in too much smoke

should be a good race though, but for what its worth even on street tires 90% of the velles on teamchevelle are running low 13s, with most around the mid 12 mark in the 1/4

ask him to race across the county, he'll run out of gas halfway across and you win by default

Nice kills. And good luck on earning that top spot at your school.. Wish I had more competition at mine... everyone is scared of it.. and the "coolest car" is a v-6 mustang or so I've been told. I guess i don't care though, I just like my car.

haha for a while I had the 1,2, and 3 fastest cars, my 2000. my 94 (now sold), and my 76 (now torn apart in my garage). And like you I work for everything I have.

And I'm starting to get the itch for a Triumph Daytona 675, especially with these gas prices... lol.

Make sure you let us know how that Chevelle race turns out!

The coolest cars at my school were a convertible 01 maroon mustang V6 and a riced out Eclipse GTS
And that was when I still had my 99Z

And this post is exactly why my kid will not have a fast car in high school. I'm about 5 yrs removed from high school but a crapload more mature. Knowing what i know now, i'll be the first to tell you that i was not mature enough to have a fast car. I would be doing stupid **** like you are. Just be careful man.

Nice kills just BE CAREFUL!!!!!

I am also 17 and im high school, however my parents DID NOT BUY ME MY 01 TRANS-AM WS6. I worked for it and bought it with MY money, they just pay half the insurance.

However in my school, I do have the fastest car in school (street legal that is, my best friend has an 11 sec. 83 Grand Prix) The closest car to me, is an 06 Mustang GT 5 spd. that the kids Grandma bought for him...I already let him know that I stomped out a new manual GT on the highway by a good 4 lengths after he was trying to get cocky with his car, I asked him if he raced, but he said no.

Yeah I know, but this was a 97 with the crappy 4.6 NPI V8. I was actually looking at a 1985 SVO. That has the same engine as the turbocoupe. Glad I got the F-body though.

That second one seems a bit hairy. Brings back bad memories of Fast and Furious 3.

Considering your RWHP, and being lighter, you should take that Chevelle no problem.
