I thought WS6's were fast?
New PB tonight at firebird with the G. Best run of the night was my first and the other run i got in the nitto's felt really greesy. Might have been the track but it probably was the tires.
PB run was against a 6spd WS6. Had some Z06 chromies and what sounded like a loudmouth and who knows what else. For some reason he kept looking over and grinning like i was today's dinner. I did a nice burnout and heated up the tires fairly well. We lined up and waited. 3000+rpm drop and i'm out of the hole. Cutting a 1.81 to his 2.09 . After it was all said and done he ran a 13.94@108 to my 13.09@103. Yeah he kicked my *** in trap speed but needed the driver mod more then anything. Afterwards we talked while i cooled the car down and he seemed pretty cool. Thought the G35 had a 4cyl for some reason.

You don't know anything about cars do you?
The only more impressive thing will be the cost for a new clutch. The stocker does NOT like full blown powershifts and was yelping at me yesterday. How impressive? 1K for the parts and probably another 300-400 for labor. I'm pretty sure i can hit a 1.7x 60ft with a decent clutch. My goal of 12's N/A should be easy because i'm so damn close. This car doesn't have the torque of my SS but once you hit 4K the VQ just screams.

Wow that guy really can't drive for ****. With my stock 01 WS6 with just Loudmouth exhaust and Lid, I ran 13.4 on street tires WHILE BRAKING in bracket racing. My best trap speed yet is 107.5, my 13.4 run my MPH was 103 or 104 as I was braking, would of been a little bit better.

Get a real clutch (ACT 6puck), a set of M/T and a small shot off the line (50hp) w/ a tune and cut 1.48-1.5's all day long in the G35. There is a 350Z out here that has been doing it consistently for 2yrs. Then add a second stage (175hp) and go 12.0-11.7 It is possible despite what anyone says and the VQ35 WILL HOLD. Just remember to let off the small stage before you hit the large one lol. (he has actually sprayed a 200 shot but didn't see any gains)
Ok guys before you start in on me, i'm not a fanboi. Been here long enough to prove that. I have just been impressed with what i've seen that Z do/beat. So good kill, !driver mod needed in the Bird

I hate to call BS, but my old 06 350Z ran a best time of 13.67 in New York state on a 60 degree night. That was with DR's, little gas, spare and passenger seat removed. You don't even have an HR motor. If you post a time slip then I retract my comments, but until then I say no chance.
BTW, with this claim, you are better than the new HR's and ALL the old VQ35DE's on www.my350z.com.
