Well I dont post my races or even street race any, but this was a once and a life time race that comes along. Going home from work going down veterans (vets is 3 lanes) passing up clearview mall going towards transcontiental (I have a full tank of gas and $160 dollars in groceries in the back LOL!). As Im about to make the U turn to go to my townhouse a SRT-10 blows by me and the light changes up ahead. I said forget it and get in the middle lane and there on my left also was a 2000ish mustang GT (loud music coming out of it.) I throw a rev both rev back. I stall up to 1200 light turns even spinning I still walked on both of them. The Mustang Gt lost BAD!! I dont even know how many cars was there, but I beat the SRT 10 by 2 or 2 1/2 cars. We probably raced to around 100 or so. I wasnt paying attention to my speedo LOL! Well after standing with the great LS1 victories I make my u turn and go home with a grin from ear to ear. Glad to see the good old car still has it. Just thought I would share it with some ya ll.

 

Srt10 truck and not a srt10 viper right?

 

All i know it said SRT-10 and it was a truck (means TRK) i thought those trucks had the viper motor.

 

they do have the V-10, was it the single cab or quad cab? good kill by the way.

Yes they have the V-10 but are very heavy trucks rolling on 22's. Good kill!

 

Nice kill! I'm sure that wasn't much of a race for the Mustang, but you don't run into those trucks every day. I'm waiting for the day someone in one of them makes a smart *** comment to me about my Z28.

 

I had some kid in one driving like a badass weaving through traffic and then when i caught him the road was clear but he would not race me. so when i turn off at the next light he floors it by me. I guess he was scared to race but he was not acared to drive at 90+
