My neighbor has a 350Z. Looks pretty bad *** too with some Nismo 5 spoke rims on it. Anyway it's rated at 300HP plus he has FULL exhaust and underdrive pulleys.

My buddies "bolt-on" '01 Mustang GT (255RWHP(5spd) with 4.10s raced him and they stayed side by side the whole time.

The point of this post?......I don't know.

What year is it? Cuz if it's an '07+, he seriously needs some driving lessons. No lie.

I'm not pissy chrissy.
The mods know who I am.
I'm allowed to like and mention a car when we're discussing it's manufacturer

I believe it's an '05. The Z's not light at all and I'd imagine the Stang has more torque, (down low anyway). Those 350Z/G35s have the best sounding V6 I've ever heard though without a doubt.

Z's aren't light, but they aren't any heavier than 99-04 Mustang GTs... but yes, their V6 sounds great IMO.

The Z is right on par with the S197 GT as far as weight is concerned.

Depends on the Z... an automatic convertible, sure, but the heaviest coupe (automatic, even) is still just under 3,400lbs. They start at just over 3,300.

Still under warrenty. It was faster than my car...but I was dissapointed in it. They said 405 at the crank, so 350-380 at the wheels? Didn't feel nearly as fast as I thought it should be. And too much damn money. Full bolt on lsx car would take down that car I think.
the stillen blowers suck they are highly overpriced and the horsepower gain isnt worth it plus the 350z's tranny's suck

I'm not sure if Vortech makes a blower for the Z

350 Z's are cute cars that don't belong in the same conversation as a 4th gen. They are craptacular POS's that are WAY over priced for the performance that you get. Other than that........................I like'em.

I think they sound terrible stock, too much like a leaf blower...never heard one with modded exhaust

the best sounding v6 stock I've ever heard (you're gonna laugh...) was a............Delorean

listen to one of those idle and you'll swear up and down its a v8

To each his own... they kind of have that semi-exotic Ferrari V8 type sound to them, minus two cylinders. If you know what I mean. Kinda hard to explain, lol.
