Good point. But even with 512rwhp I roll on BFG DR's on the stock rims 24/7.

maybe running street tires for a highway pull would be my assumption. trying to hook drag radials from-60-80 is damn near impossible with alot of torque, and they get slippery when the mph goes up and there is a bend in the road.

nice runs in your LT-1 man, KB cobras are sick.

Hey I put BFG drag radials on mine and I was as frustreated as a horny nun! Couldn't do **** with them. Sometimes you have to run when you get a chance. We all know it doesn't come around often enough.LOL Plus not everyone has the budget to own two sets of wheels and tires.

I dont know about you but personally one of the biggest pain in the *** things for me is to spend $600+ on a set of good bfg's (345/30/18's in my case)

A lot of people run street tires because drag radials are simply drag radials and do not last on the street like other compound tires do. Street tires dont get squirley like radials do either on the top end. I will probly go through 5 sets of radials on the street before i would regular street tires on my vette. Mind you all i run is radials but not everyone has money to spend 300+ per tire every couple months just on rear tires alone! It starts to add up really quick and hurts your budget.

I understand what you guys are saying. But The nittos are much better street tires than most. I know they dont hook quite as well as the BFG's, but they are faaar better than street tires, and they DO NOT get squirelly top end. They also last far longer than most. Hell, they have lasted me longer than street tires simply because im not constantly doing burn outs on accident, because they actually hook. I have 5000+ miles on my current set and still have LOTS of tread left, practically look brand new

Also, i buy mine for $333 for a set of 2 315's. Cant beat that.
