What the hell is wrong with my car... Can someone please explain why my car is beating cars that out do it in WHP and WTQ. We have been trying to figure this out for a while. How is it able to beat cars it shouldn't beat? From a dig and a roll? Can't say driver mod because how hard is it to race from a roll. Cant say weight because I weigh 270-280 so that pretty much negates any weight advantage my car gets. I mean wtf, First its Mykel's C6... now this... Its getting so bad that I'm getting accused of lying about my mods.

More like, what the hell is wrong with his car....he has at least 80hp more than you, there is no way you should be pulling him like that. You got beat by a heavy *** vert cobra with the about the same hp as the vette.

 

Gearing??? looked good for u .. auto looked kinda slow till it got going.. he was pulling hard up top .. looked like he would have an advantage in say.... A ricer roll ..80 160 ?? IMO .. Ur car rolls ..could be a freak

you obviously realize that your z06 is a lot different chassis-wise that a normal c5. a lot of advantage is to be had from the fixed roof, and less weight and overall more rigid chassis of the z06. it also appeared that the driver of the c5 had a passenger riding along. did you have a passenger as well? its obvious the tranny short shifted on the first run but the 2nd and 3rd run, looked like he was starting to come back on you and then you would let out. good runs none the less, the c5 is probably built to run on the spray.

 

why is a 383 ls1 only putting down 440rwhp?...people do that with stock displacement

 

Stroking doesn't always add HP, but it does add TORQUE.

If the 383 only put down 440 rwhp its most likely due to him being an auto, and / or improper h/c selection. Possibly the exhaust is holding him back. 383's like to breath. Only speculation, I don't know any of the details on the 383 setup.

I was untouched then... I think my car as it sits now would beat Noel at his old power lvl.

And he doesn't reel me up top. It looks that way because when I shut down, I have a bad habit of just crusing to a stop, instead of slamming on breaks. Then I remembered it was on film so I had to slam.... We could have went to 200 mph... he would have never caught me.

And actually I was alone, and he had a passanger... But he wanted that because he did have 80whp more than me... plus 100wtq

 

Except your car won't do anywhere close to 200mph . Regardless of what *should* be happening, good race. Take your car to the track and see what you can do

That 383 is not fantastic. Auto is killing the car somehow. I would not put a big $$$ N2O setup on my engine without finishing the 383 setup first.

 

The car runs retardedly good on the Spray. Its forged and everything and he sprays it at least once a week. Like it was stated earlier. The car is build around the nitrous (motor is forged, hardened crank... etc) but we just wanted to see how the cars stacked up against each other all motor. On the spray, I would get massacred, as we will see this weekend...
