Default '99 T/A vs '06 WRX

This was my first race in quite a while. I was driving down the highway towards the Army base, when I see my friends WRX pull out. We are crusing at around 40 mph, and he is telling me that he is in economy mode (cobb tune and some data port). I turn onto another highway, and luck behold, no cars, and we catch a light. He says hes only at 6lbs, regular is at 18. He launches like a bat out of hell, while I somewhat baby it (slept at the light). He gets a good 2 cars ahead, and I start to reel him in. I hit second, he hits third around my 4k rpm range, and I really start to pull him in. By about 65-70, I had cought him, but had to slow for a truck in my lane. Can't wait to run him again at full potential. I think I'll take him once I hit third. I know I trap higher than him in the 1/4, so we will have to see how it is on the streets.

Mods are
WRX: cobb stage 2 everything I believe, with accessport. Only on 6 lbs. of boost for this run.

Me: In sig.

Thanks for reading.

Traction I guess. Only places in Arizona that you need AWD is way up north, in the mountains. Or when monsoons hit, because then having a RWD car SUCKS.

I don't really understand why you shouldn't trap higher than he would. Nice runs though
edit-nevermind I just saw your location. yeah he should trap right at what you would be

Yea, the altitude here sucks. 4600 where we leave. The track I go to is 3075, so everyones trap speeds are a lil lower than they should be.
