Cool me vs 300zx (rematch)

me-84 trans am ls1/t56 (mods in sig)
him 91 twin turbo 300zx full exhaust, ud pulley, maybe a couple other things.

ok, so after our race i get to work the next day and hear i got smoked by the 300z (5spd), so i figured i would just wait it out till we got some nice weather....sat morning we did....

i got out of work and pulled next to his car, let it warm up...
he came out about 10 min later and let his car warm up.

after bs'ing with him and some other co workers, i told him lets go!

we leave work, both doing rolling burnouts, we get onto the vacant highway, get up to about 60ish, i hear him down shift so i do the same, i pulled about 3+ cars on him and held him off to around 100mph, then i shut it down.

we get into town and he gave me that look like....you bastard.
so hes following me and we get to a blinking red light, i told him i used to drag race here back in highschool, and i told him it was exactly a 1/4 mile to the rail road tracks, on green we go.....well the red light kept blinking and i said were gonna be here awhile lol.

then we both revved up i went to about 3500, dumped the clutch, spun a few times, put alot of lenths on him, and just kept going!!!!

now there is no way he can say he beat me! it was a fun race...
he did start talking about "turbo lag" but i just rolled my eyes.

Sounds a bit fast and furious, the whole highschool train tracks exactly 1/4 mile Turetto.

8 seconds at a time man.... 8 seconds....

yea, its a hard hat, im a saw filer.

id feel bad if it was a honda or something, but his car is fast, at least low 13's high 12's....i took him for a ride in mine after the race and he was impressed

next up.....05 sti, intake, exhaust and down pipe...also a co worker.

Awesome story, and nice kill. Maybe he'll come back with 2 more turbos to make it a quad turbo, and he'll have enough boost to win!

thanks! its the fastest car ive raced so far....

yea, he should really up the boost on it though, its only got 50k on the motor, but i dont want him to do that till i do my h/c lol

If the STi is tuned, I anticipate you aving certain parts of your anatomy handed to you. Those things are FAST out of the hole when set up right. I would know, I used to have one.

I hate Z owners like him. There is no way he had turbo lag on the stock turbos. Worst he could have had was a boost leak (doubtful). My guess is he's still stuck in the mid 13's with his light mods and you're in the mid 12's with your light fire chicken (I say light because a TT Z32 weighs about 3450lbs).

I want one of those 300ZX's so I can s-can that Nissan motor and put in an LS1 or even an LT1.

Why an LT1? The VG30dett tends to dyno at 260rwhp bone stock, more than an LT1 can say. The LS1... That's been done, to no end it seems

Very true. I dread installing my JWT 700's, the damn vg30 is pretty damn wide. But, it is very power capable I think you'd be surprised... (Plus no optispark)

no, hes not running extra boost, just intake and full exhaust. my car hooks up pretty good with the toyos, so he wont beat me by much off the line....after that ill kill him lol.

Theres no denying its a very cabable engine, and history has proven that out. I think the packaging(ease of access for modifications) may be one of the reasons that the Supra has grabbed its #1 most popular import spot, and cars such as the 300 and Mitsu 3000 have become more nitch market by comparison.
