So let me get this straight...your turbo SS pulled an intake and exhaust
only '03 Cobra by 1.5 car lengths? Yeesh...that's pretty weak.
That's not even breaking out of the 12's...and with a turbo kit.

You ran a very light bolt on '03 Cobra...and you barely pulled on him...even
if you let off that's extremely weak. I doubt you've even run an 11 with that
STS kit.

When I ordered them they were different on the website than the ones I got but I like them becuase there different to each their own.

 

yes I did let off not into 120 130 mph runs in traffic but I also had to put a tranny in it three days later with overdrive which had gone out was slipping. My car only dyno'd at 437hp, 448tq which are week by even sts standards but on the road it pulls harder than that I have no intercooler which would help tremendously and no methanol so it isn,t as strong as it could be plus I only have about 25k invested in car with purchase and rims and art carr stage three tranny 2500 tci stall and 3.73 out back with bmr lca's, tq arm, phbar plus it has stock motor no heads and cam so If I want to forge it and run 23lbs of boost on a 19 psi tune then where would we be. i guess if he owned a chevy he wouldn't have enough time to be on an ls1 site criticising anyone because his car would be running more.

 

I am at the limit on stock motor at 8lbs If I wanted to forgr it I could push 13 or 154 with the setup I have now but thats not what I bought the car for.

Oh. I feel all STS just got bad names. Dude, look for a green IROC down in Va Beach with a tailpipe matching yours. That isn't going to be a pretty race for you. It'll be fun... for a second. Haha. Can you post your plate in the opening thread so we all have a clue of what the hell you're talking about before we have to ask? Thanks. I'll never buy the STS kit again. It was fun but just riddled with problems.

You strike me as someone that would think the aftermarket body kits they make for these cars really add to the appeal. What do you think about the trans am ws6 style hood on the camaro? A keeper?

 

I am not really a fan of body kits on these cars but it was on the car when I bought it the ws6 hood on a camaro no way
