Default my camaro SS vs. 333whp GT30R Prelude...VIDEO's

I will let the video's speak for them selves....

he asked for a 40 roll, I agreed....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6gc_1xEl3z4

Next race, he asked for another run from a 40 roll...this time, I gave him a 2 car length head start....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DIIaFoGtjcs

Both races, I shut down at 150.

I would have thought that a 333whp Prelude would have put up a better fight than that. Did he have any ricer excuses?

Aside from the fact that hondas are POS' the outcome isn't too unexpected.
A prelude weighs 3000lbs bone stock + turbo and accessories around 3100lbs (give or take blah, blah, blah)
A GT30R is not the best turbo for a 2.2l I4. Neither is Vtec for that matter. My guess is tiny motor plus Vtec plus low boost for decent sized turbo equals crappy power band. Not to mention his stupid 500whp BS speal. That alone makes me think that his 333whp could be nothing more than a claim and not necessarily true. Plus FWD hondas suck.

No they don't .......... mine happens to get very good gas mileage. Good kill o/p! All that money into a honda just to have a 13'sec car.

No, it was 333whp. I know the owner of the shop that built/dyno tuned his car. His numbers were 100% dead on. 333whp and 250wtq at 9.8psi.

heres a video of his dyno....on a dyna pack.

wtf are you talking about?

a 30R is fine, maybe not for other 2.2's out there, but for a Honda, it is. Yea, there will be some lag, its inevitable, but the turbo has to be able to supplement the top end that the motor winds out to.

With traction at the track, that's a solid low-mid 12s car... but FWD+high power+street= anybody's game. Good kill OP

WTF are YOU talking about??? A gt30R has a 56 trim, 76mm compressor. It can support over 500hp, definitely not ideal for low boost.
