I also agree that the z06 is a better all around car, and far better looking IMO. If you have ever driven a new z06 it doesnt feel like any other lsx car including the earlier z06s. Its truely a beautiful thing.
Im not a fan boy douchizzle, im just telling him what the car makes hp wise. If you believe the skyline makes what nissan says jsut because they say so that makes you as bad as the liberals you seem to dislike.

cbr600 is being reasonable. Like I said, the GTR is a nice car, but for those that thought even for a second that it can run with a Z06 in a straight line are on some serious hasheesh. You got a 500 hp car at 3800 lbs that traps at 120 in the 1/4 (on a good day) vs. a 500 hp car at 3100 lbs that traps at 125 (on an average to good day).

The spec-V should be a better competitor to the Z06 in a straight line, but I still doubt it will be as quick.

Right... My sig has an impact on what I believe from a car manufacturer with a track record of overstating the performance of an ugly slug. The GTR doesn't and won't make that much HP, unless its a really happy dyno or they are testing in third gear (which has been done because of the speed limiter) but gear reduction won't skew HP numbers. Go play somewhere else Chrissy.

No i called you a liberal because you just believe what you want to instead of taking in the facts. I just posted a link to a dyno that said 470whp and there are oh so many more if you search. Your a hypocrite thats all, BTW most cars run on a dyno reguardless of make or model are run in 3rd gear.

i bet your new camaro will be a pig as well. they hype each car up every year with more power. were gonna give xxx power instead of xxx power but were also gonna add a couple hundred pounds to it so all in all its just as fast as the previous models.

Close. From what I read, it should be 3700lbs for the coupe (coming from a friend that works at GM Corporate).

But, it is definitely heavier than a 4th gen coupe (around 3400lbs).

The only cars that are run in third are cars that third is 1:1. Most manuals that means fourth, most autos that means third. Its dependant on the car and which gear is 1:1. The rest of your post I'm going to ignore because I doubt you know me well enough to determine if I'm a hypocrite or anything else.

Your right i dont, but you are doin exactly what liberals do. They believe what they want to reguardless of fact or proof. I gave you a link to prove what i said and give fact to back my statement and trust me there are many more jsut use google. All you did is say there is no way it makes that much power with nothing to back it just proving my statement "that you are acting like something you dislike", to be true. Which is basically the definition of hypocrite.

That was a link to a news article that said a guy on a forum has proof. I have seen a lot of happy dyno charts of those cars ranging from 430 to nearly 500 HP. Judging by the video the car doesn't seem like it is all it was cracked up to be. Dynos are great but they don't say what a car will do in the real world.

I agree, dynos do not tell all, or even half the story in some cases. I was never trying to prove the GTR to be a superior car than the z06, mainly cause i dont believe it is. I was just saying the 480crank hp is a bit underrated, which is why it does so well on closed courses against lighter cars with similar power, better than a 3800lbs car with 480crank hp should do because its really a 3800lbs car with 530ish crank hp and a pretty advanced drivetrain.

As far as the car in the real world, its AWD which makes real world driving a little easier in most situations.

Why is that? You don't know me and I don't know you so you do you come to the conclusion that I am a douche?
