I've seen plenty of Mach's running mid 13's stock but they weren't holeshotting LS1 M6 3.42 F-Bodies. You'd be hard pressed to find a better mod than a 4.10 or 4.30 gear set and some stickies.

Plus you got a six speed so its you could live with 410s or 430s, gearing down mach takes alot of the drive ability of it

Nice kill.....and cool attitude, I must say.

LOL..If that's the case, you accidentally hit eleven, instead of fourteen in your Sig. Low 14s...are you kidding me? Unless it's a 2k+ DA with an auto...or some 'kid' driving a 5 spd...tell me genius, how many machs have you seen race? Can you even use your other hand to count that many? Or are we talking a 'one hand car count' here?

Take your head outta your ***. You always talk BS and it's obvious you know JS.

Define 'plenty' please. Can you even tell me what the machs 1-2-3 gear ratios are?......I dont' even think you can tell me their rear gear ratios without doing a search.

Very true...but, hey, when your bow tie blind, your blind. They won't see that.

Well Jr., that would be 3.35, 1.99 and 1.33 with 3.55 in the rear. Any other questions genius, because there was no search required for that one.

I'm sure I could do a search of Mach tests and see what "Mr. Mustang" Evan Smith did behind the wheel of a stock Mach 1. I suppose I could find what he did behind the wheel of an LS1 as well.

Wow pops, I'm surprised. Only a tad off, but who wants to nit-pick right?

Oh, and you can pull that article up all you want...no need to 'threaten' someone who knows all about it.......I would hate to inform you that machs have hit high 12s factory stock on very rare occasion as well. But, what do I know right? I'm just some dumb stang owner.....oh....sorry...some 1 cobra, two machs, and four classic stang owner. I have no clue what I'm tlaking about.

It's good to read that you know pretty darn close to what a 3650 is and the rear gears (which given your LIMITED mach knowledge, I doubt seriously you didn't do a search), but how does that make you a mach genius again?

No Mach genius here but I do keep an open mind when it comes to all things automotive. Knowledge is power!!! Many friends with many different rides. I spend a lot of time at the track too. You'd be surprised at the things you can learn there.

I agree with an open mind, hence my respect for GM and not getting involved in the brand loyal (although I do prefer stangs). Knowlege is power, and you can learn alot at the track. Just remember one thing while you're there, there are just as many BS'ers at the track as there are online. Belief/Trust should be skeptical regarding others' rides.

You always have to be skeptical when things fall to far from the norm. Considering how cars are produced, it's pretty easy to see why identical cars will not necessarily perform the same.

If I mentioned how I faired against a new GT500 on Nitto DR's at the track, it'd probably start another argument!!!

Nothing BS about what I said.
I've never seen a ******* Mach 1 or new GT in the 13's at the track. I've seen around 3 or 4 of them run, and about 10 or so new GT's.

Get the **** over it.
Either your mustangs are slow or none of you can drive. Pick one.

Well let's use common sense here... if people have hit 12.9X in a BONE STOCK Mach 1, and the norm is low-mid 13s from what most people see, I'm gonna have to go with that second option. The fact that you assume that they can't even run in the 13s is ignorance plain and simple.

Or a bunch of automatics...the auto Mach's are about on par with a manual New Edge GT and don't even get my started how slow the auto New Edge GT's are

Where the hell is this track, on the top of Mt. Everest? I could run 13.1's, 13.2's @ 105-107 all friggin' day long when my car was bone stock, with Goodyear Eagle street tires.

Right now, I'd put my 11 second runs against yours anytime.

Not taking anything away from your win, but you had the biggest mod of either cars. I'll take a set of stickies in a stock 6 speed LS1 anyday to the mods listed for the 5 speed Mach.

Gt500's are mid 12 sec....And You did a 12.2 right?

So I can go with a 2-3 length loss

i like how this thread turned into all the mach 1 owners backin up their cars saying how fast they are and how this is bs? all ill say is the guy beat him thats that. now a stock mach 1 vs a stock ls1 camaro is not a match, camaro would win. and thats that period. now im sure theres those mach that do run 13 but really come on...?

so lets not ruin this guys thread even more..... STAY FOCUSED!

Gainesville raceway, FL.

So you hit 13.1-2 all day bone stock uh?

I believe you, I've just never seen it before.
You need to come to FL and show these guys I see at the track how to drive their Mustangs.

I mean, on a great day your car would would then be a high 12 sec car, bone stock. Pretty good, if you're telling the truth.
