help beating a bike??????
I am back in Bartlesville now Sarge. Up by the KS border. FORMULA I would be more than happy to meet up man. Bit of a drive though. When I head to Dallas I will make a thread about when I will be there. For some strange reason some of the Texas boys want to beat me............strange. I can't figure that one out.LOL
What kind of bike do you have?
What kind of bike do you have?
02 Hayabusa - not stock. I don't really care if I beat you or not, I'd just like to run a fast F-body. My Formula is damn sure not quick enough to compete with my bike, OR your car for that matter. I've run a couple guys down here in San Angelo where I am currently, but nothing close.
That's cool. You may be beat me....never know. There have been bad days where I can't get grip even on slicks. But as hot as it is that shouldn't be an issue if it where to happen now.
The car is.....sure. Can I drive it to that? Probably not right away. I need time with the T56 now and suspension components. Right now I will be happy with a 10 anything. It's frustrating as hell having a car like this and not getting a good clean pass time.
Why did you take the auto out?
It rattled my teeth out going down the highway(TH400). Oh and it broke on me also. The T56 just adds joy to the driving experience. The auto I felt disconected. Stab and steer is all you do.
Sarge, I'm in San Angelo right now, you anywhere close to that?
Oh no I understand FORMULA. I am not one of those guys that gets bent out of shape when someone wants to race me. I have never understood why alot of people take offence when you let them know you are doown for a run or simply state you think you are faster. It's why we have our cars.LOL
04-newer 600's are going to run 10.7-11.0@~125-128 with a good rider. When I ran my 600 it trapped identical mph, but a slower time (60ft) to a 402 stroker camaro. The camaro has stage 3 6.0L heads, a 24x/25x .6xx cam, fast 90/90, Turbo 400 with a 3800 stall, 9", Qa1 coilovers, adjustable chassis mount torque arm, LCA's, a tubular K-member, and a cage. Low 1.4x 60ft's on slicks. 3400 raceweight. Both the car and bike trapped 103 in the 1/8th and 125-127 in the quarter. My advice if you want to beat a 600 is run them from a dig if you have suspension and the rider sucks (1.7x 60ft is about all your going to get on stock ride height and length) and shut down early. If you make a bit more power and don't have the suspension, run them from as high of a roll as you can get them to agree to. Top speed on a stock 600 is mid 150's to mid 160's.
could always be worse man, after looking at some timeslips on here i think i have one of the slowest 402 f-bodies on the planet. 11.60s with better 60s than you.
