any new 600 will get walked.
last one that got thumped was a 07 r6 with slip on and power commander.he got a solid 10 car *** whoopin.
before that was abuilt 750 with a jockey,we were pretty much dead even,i pulled him off the line, then he pulled me at half track then i pulled him in high gear.
the 600 rider was average, the 750 rider was a great rider.
Soon to race the guys 1000 that owns the r6.SHould be fun.

Are you wanting to go after the big bikes like the Busa or ZX-14? If so...just read up on the single digit section and see what they had to do to get into the 9's. My bike is a very slightly modified 02 Busa and it will go 9.5's. But realistically on the street you will have to be able to run a mid 10 to compete with most bikes. The problem with that is that rarely is there enough traction on a street to get off the line as fast as a liter (or bigger) bike, especially if they have changed sprockets, so I would say you'll need a lot on the top end to compete since you may not be able to get the jump on them. That is of course assuming the guy on the bike actually knows how to launch his bike without either bogging or standing it straight up in the air.
Just my .02 cents.

And your car will do that on the street??
My bike will go 9.50's @ 147 all day. It does have nitrous, but it hasn't been sprayed (not tuned yet). I have a few things done to it...but no more than half the other Busa owners have. There's a little more left in that bike...I'm just to big of a chicken to try it at this point. So again...if you want to beat liter or bigger bikes you'll need to be able to run 9's, or at least low 10's, on the street. This is all assuming, of course, that they guy on the bike knows what he's doing.
