Well not as cool as some of the threads I have read in this section (no vid or pics). I had my first chance to run my TA with my new setup.

I was heading up I64 north and ran into tunnel trafic (locals know what I am talking about it sucks). So while I am sitting in trafic a EVO with limo tint is in the left lane. I notice and tell he has exhaust done but can not tell much else. It was black with red badges. Sit in trafic for about 20 min then get through the tunnel. My lane moved faster and when the intestate turned into 3 lanes I was pretty far ahead of him. In my rearview I see him moving up crossing 2 lanes at time to get to me or wherever he was headed. I slowed to about 45mph as he came up on my rear and he tried a flyby. I down shifted to 2nd and he never made it past my front wheel well. I pulled about 4 cars then let off. He came up on the right side of me with his window down and said "Nice car, very fast". He had his blow off valve popping. He then procedied (sorry this happend early today and have been drinking,... spelling) to take off I down shifted again and pulled on him hard with about the same result.

His car look nice. He has defentiley put some cash into it. I was worried about my dyno numbers but feel better now. I am sure he would crushed me with just boltons.

Guy was cool and it was good roll race for me even if there was no honk off. I guess I will try my neighbors wifes car for run sometime. I should be able to post a vid of that. It is a pullied 04 cobra and put down about 60 rwhp more than my TA on the dyno, but I do not have much faith in those in terms of track time or street racing. I have full suspiension and 12 bolt with 411 gears and I do not think all of that hp is hitting the ground on the neighbors cobra. If it is I will just have to look into NOS . Sorry for the long post with no vid but, betters ones will follow.

So you beat him in your 04 cobra, stock ls-1 pull on wrx's and evo's from a roll, from a dig we have to play catch up but we catch up! With your 04 cobra that dude in the evo musn't have been surprised to have been beat by you. Question have you ever raced your cobra stock against a bolt-on ls1? It's kind of a personal matter there seems to be alot in hiding where I live, and I dont want to be bitten by the snake like that evo did.

I think the 04 Cobra he mentioned is a neighbors. The car in the story was his Trans Am in his signature.

Yeah the cobra is my neighbors wifes car. I was just worried about my dyno numbers. Both the neighbors cobra and my Trans Am were to be dynoed together as a group with 2 other cobras but, my car would not accecpt the hand held tuning tool that day. Her car dynoed about 60 rwhp more than mine after I finnaly got my car to accecpt a tune. So I was little worried about the tune and rwhp numbers with everything that was done to my car on the build.

I do not think the EVO was stock. The car looked very nice (for a EVO I think they all look like crap). The owner had must have put some money into that thing.
