Race Busted

Race Busted So even in the butt hole of MT we get busted. There is a long stretch of two lane road were they run the quarter mile. (I dont street race any more if I can help it, but I enjoy watching) No one around for miles you can see people coming from about 10 miles away in either direction. So any ways my friend in his camaro lined up to race my friends Cavi, When we see head lights in the distance. So we have the two lined up pull off to the side of the road at the turn off to my buddies ranch house were the start line is. So there are about 15 of us just chillin when a hypo and sheriff pull up with there lights flashing. Of course since Im the oldest (26) the cops single me out and come and talk to me first. "What are you boys doing here? I suspect you might be racing?" my reply "No sir, see since we can not hang out in town, because you guys all ways break it up no matter were we are. We decided to come hang out at the turn off to my buddies house and enjoy a nice summer night in the country while listing to some loud music." The officer kinda rolls his eyes and says this. "Funny this stretch of road is were we used to run the quarter when I was a kid back in the day, don't let us catch you racing or it will be ugly!" my reply "No sir, no racing here 
" And they left...we thought it best to let Bone camaro and the Cavi run then call it quits...can you guess who won? lol

what was the turn out? buses or car lengths?
o and you guys are lucky to have that friend live right on that street. hell i would just be like were hanging out at my friends house now please get off his property. they really have no right... because you guys can just race on that street and all pull into his property and they have no evidence that u guys were racing there. hell you can just say some "ricers" came flying down the street and left. ive used that one before haha

LoL, well its actually an old two lane highway about 10 miles outside the city limits. His house is the only one for about 10 miles, his family owns a section of land in the county, which is 8 miles by 8 miles.

Who won you asked? The Cavalier The last automatic Cavalier I drove on street tires and a little Nitrous ran track documented 13.8's till the tank ran down. If I pushed with the Nitrous timer it ran better.
The only thing I ever did on the street were 0 to 60 sprints with the g-tech. No tracks near you I guess? I just loved showing folks 1.8 and 1.9 60' times at the track with a FWD Cavalier and street tires.

The cavi has a 5spd but he had nothing on the camaro, even though at the end he did start gaining back some distance. I think the camaro won by like 4 car lengths. That damn Cavi hooked up right off the bat, no wheel hop or spinning tires. But the camaro still pulled on him and held it pretty good. I think the Cavi had a bunch of suspension mods, a built NA Motor, Clutch, Exhaust, Pulleys the usual stuff. My friend refuses to tell me what he has done to his camaro and hardly ever lets me look under the hood. Its an auto but man that thing tears up asphalt. I know he does not have N20 and his car is pretty quiet until he gets on it.

Cops around here are pretty easy going. The only problem is my home town is only about 15k in population and there is not even a youth center for kids to hang out. So all the young adults hang out at the end of main...just minding our own business and not bothering anyone. And they always chase us off, so what do most of them do after that..go cause problems and break laws because there bored...what does that tell you about how detached today's Law Enforcement and City Counsel is from there days as a youth? They actually voted against a Youth Center for Teens and young adults. It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out why so many of them are drinking and breaking laws out of boredom
