450+ whp 1g talon and others!!!! Got quite a few runs in tonight.
1st was a 450+ awhp 1st gen awd talon (gt35r @30 psi, built head, stock bottom end)......ran him 3 different times with about the same result.....about 2 cars from 40-120ish very good runs, and damn that thing is a hell of a sleeper! Jap even guest drove for a run I got love for the DSM's......hope everything turns out ok with the car guys! It should be noted that they were running hot so it could have been much closer.
2nd was he worlds fastest srt8.....we did a couple digs I suck at launching my car and he got me almost everytime out of the hole. Once I finally got moving I ran him down and put 2-3 cars on him in my best race, the others were closer.....The first one he was out on me till almost 100 but I bogged it really bad, on the better launch I moved out on him pretty good.
3rd was a bad motherfucking turbo civic coupe. we ran from a 40-45 and he was fighting traction.......made sure to stay in it to about 120ish where I was 1-1.5 cars out (not sure it was very close!) I was on the motor for this one and the srt race.
Good runs guys it was a great time.

Okay so you suck at launching, but you have a sub 2 second 60'? Was that on stickier tires or something? Just curious.
What did the str-8 have down to it? Which srt-8 was it?

I just got the new tires (28''x325x50) and welds put on......they are much stickier and I am having a little trouble bogging off the line. I have a 150 shot that I used on the talon.
It was the srt 8 300.
and 1.997 is not a good 60' (which was at the track so wtf are we even talking about this for?)

thanks, I was pretty nervous vs the talon.....it freight trained my friends 430 whp 00'h/c auto z28 (which somehow only put a car or two on me on the motor from a 30-120)

I think there was something wrong with the DSM though.
Sounds like he was making more power than you and he should weigh less (assuming you're still in the 12's trapping 111)...
You sure he was at 30 pounds???
If he was, than those numbers are correct and there's something seriously wrong with his car.

good kills. I raced that srt 8 also and he is def pretty quick. He suposedly only has a filter and thats it. Its defa quick car for what it has done. I think he has something else done that nobody knows about
