Go from a roll at your strong point 1st. If you pull pretty hard go from a dig. Otherwise with that gear and dr's he'll shoot out of the hole pretty quick if he can drive

I am not trying to guess what happens, just what he has so I can decide to run my car on spray or not.........people do lie about their setups guys...

I realize I was being somewhat of a dick, but he asked me for a run and the came in with all the BS about he had to race the other guy first and I got a funny ricer bench racer feeling from him.

Maybe I have more to worry about than I thought.......

Thanks for the replies
7-10mph? no. More like 3-5 mph. The manual S197 GT's will usually trap 103-105mph depending on driver and conditions.

98-101? Maybe an auto in warm weather. They have a timeslip database on mustangforum I'll see if I can find it.

rite here i own 1. i trap a 110+ everytime. and as for lifting the front tires hes probably refering to an article in the 5.0 mag where they took 2 stock gt's and added basic bolt ons with slicks and stock gears and they ran 12.50@108 with completly stock exhaust

my buddy has a s197 and ran 8.6 in the 1/8th with just a CAI and street tires. and it was auto. with a few more mods and a manual i'd say it would get down pretty low.

and i agree. your kind of an *******. its just a run for fun. who gives a ****. just go out and run him.

yea just race him. i think u'll win but will be closer than u think. if hes running dr's and u r 2 then from a dig will be the closest race but i do think u have a slightly better top end. without LT's he wont trap ur mph he'll be close to 108 so.......
