So i get a call from a guy we roll around with an do some racing. He says he just talked to a guy that said he raced me last night and just murdered me. He said my LT1 wasnt worth the gas, thats how bad he beat me. So thats fine and dandy but heres the problem. I DONT HAVE AN ENGINE! lol i have the car down for a build and i dont even get the motor back from machine work till friday lol. anyone else ever been killed with out an engine>?

A while back a guy that lives on the same street as me picked up a Z28 same year, same color (mystic teal), we both have C5 wheels... I wonder where he got the originality. Anyways, If some d-bag that lives on my street goes and buys a mystic teal z28 with the same ****** wheels as my car, then there is probably an lt1 car (same color) as you out purgin on people you race. Haha.

IMO, Lt1 is very underestimated engine... hell, with a few bolt ons it hangs with ls1's... I wouldnt be so cocky like that dude if i had to race one

i got 'smoked' once by a guy who NEVER lined up with me (he would just drive past and rev going the other way)... he told everyone he destroyed me.

Me -> 1995 LT1, CC306, 2200 stall, 3.42s, manual valvebody, tune, bbk shorties, cai, !CAT, !AIR, 1LE A/C Delete, etc

Him -> 1994 LT1, M6 with catback exhaust and CAI.

It was pretty funny stuff... but it pissed me off when I first heard about the guy talking crap.
