Compared to other V6s, Honda/Nissan is at or near the top. Don't be ignorant and say the VQ isn't good for anything.

I seen him race my friend right after that has an 07 350z with exhaust and intake and the g37 hung pretty good but still lost by 1.5 cars.
i miss the bay area..... haha why and the hell would he try and race your car??? what an idiot! "but your not to modded" haha ive been really wanting to run a new g37. but every one i see driving them are old.

You indicate that you raced up to 143mph and put only 4 lengths on him??? You should have been bus lengths ahead of him at that speed. My buddy has a 2008 G37 (6 speed manual) and I can smoke him with my TBSS. Put an easy 6-7 cars on him up to around 110mph. By the way, my TBSS only runs low 13s (pretty much the same as a bone stock LS1 f-body). have not had a chance to run him in my Camaro; that would be even worse for him.

His car only runs low 14s at the track (he is a decent driver).
hes got some exhaust work done and the stillen intake system i know that.but remember i said my buddy said he was about 4 behind..it was kinda hard for me to be able to look and measure out mentally how far i was ahead cause i was rapidly approaching a 90 degree bend that has to be made at most at 20 to 25 mph.im sure i pulled more than 4,plus i had another 280 pound dude in the car with me.the car is alot more responsive and powerful when im alone naturally.i still wanna race him and record it cause i wanna be able to see for myself next time.those trasmissions of the G's are nut though.they shift like the new skyline.fast and linear

When i was near stock with catback, FIPK, and PTB with 336rwhp, i put busses on a bone stock g37, probably automatic with 2 guys in it....
hahahahaha yeah actually your right, i just bought the car a month ago and yes it is mostly stock with a catback and K&n cone filter airbox replacement with an auto and i had my 280 pound friend inthe car hahahah... your good dude hahahah

I dont understand, I thought I read numerous threads about the new Z/G37 engines that were running low 13s/high 12s and outrunning any stock LSx?!!

..So I'm still waiting for the IDL to chime in and tell the truth.

Joking, Good kill OP!!! looks like a hell of a race! Way to shut his mouth!

It isn't good for anything. Why buy a V6 when you can buy a V8 and get the same fuel economy?? Its not ignorance, its the truth.

So basically you're not just talking about the Nissan VQ series, you're talking about every V6 in the world. You're absolutely right, every car in the world should come with a V8

i havent seen or heard of any new G37's running low 13s or 12s rofl. the 370z might once its in production it will be better designed and lighter than the g37's.

If I'm not mistaken, Irunelevens was saying something about the new 350Z in the very low 13s stock...I could be wrong though.

There have been quite a few people that have run low 13s stock... people have been talking about that on this board (definitely not just me) since the cars came out. But a G37 is not a 350Z.
