No doubt, my car is faster. At least once a week I see the same C-5 on my way to work. It's a red convertable with the older fat spoke rims. We cross over the CT. river to get to the highway. The bridge is 4 lanes wide going over the river, perfect spot to run it. I have beat him from a 15mph.. or so roll, a 30mph roll, and from almost a dead stop. He WILL NOT give me a thumbs up or stop to talk. I like Vette's , but I love beating them.

Re: No doubt, my car is faster. Good kill, and bullit~ Hot rod dynoed one of the early Ls1 vettes and it dynoed at 289, and a firebird dynoed at 292. So why wouldn't a modified f-body be able to beat a presumably stock vette? Not talking trash, just being logical!

(I hate ******** in 'vettes that don't respect other cars. Seems like 90+% of vette drivers won't even acknowledge an fbody at all, beneath them I guess to do so...)

Re: No doubt, my car is faster. The funs over for a while. Next weak my car goes back into the shop. I get to drive my winter beater to work for a while. How do you think a Mighty Max pickup will do against a Vette? It's a 5 spd

. I can almost beat my friend's '98 Cavalier with it though. It's actually in good shape though considering its age plus it has over 205,000 miles so I can't complain. It allows me to keep the TA a garage queen. Hopefully I'll be upgrading to a nicer beater car soon.
