Default Brake Dust!

I was wondering a very low dust pad for our cars. The ones I have now are HORRIBLE I can clean my wheels and by the next day they will be coated already. Im pretty sure I have hawk pad's the ceramic ones with Brembo blanks. I dont know what to do im tired of having to go into exreme cleaning mode on each one of my wheels, fronts worse than the banks, and its the same setup all around.

Thanks Jim

You can either have clean wheels, or stopping power. Not both.

It seems my stopping power isnt that amazing, compared to all the dust they create. I would perfer clean wheels, im not out here doing 80-0 stops or anything crazy

Keep in mind that what ae13291 thinks is low dust you may think is too much. I've heard most opinions of Hawk ceramic to be that the dust is minimal as well as the stopping power. I just don't want to see someone get a different pad that may end up dusting more than what you have.

I doubt you have Ceramics.... They are very clean (ceramic making a very light gray dust) vs. HPS's on up that are carbon based (and we all know carbon is much more black).

"Ceramics" are not all the same, it's like saying all V-rated tires are the same, or all oil is the same (be it synthetic or dino based). It's not true. There are junk ceramics out there too.

I recommend the Hawk Ceramics when folks are worried about dust. They are good compromise between power and cleanliness. HPS's have a bit better power, but are a bit more dirty. HP+'s have killer power, and are flithy.

We are offering free shipping on a set of Hawk Performance Ceramics. $165 for the set, to the door for LS1 pads.

I ordered them from WS6store.com and I checked my past orders, it says I got the Hawk Ceramic. Could I not have broke them in right when I installed them? Would that cause alot of dust. Possibly could have been shipped the wrong ones and didnt notice the packaging.

I'm glad you like your suspension parts.

What I meant by between you and them is if you found they sent the wrong pads. I don't know they did, but have not found Ceramics to be dirty at all. If you can find the boxes, we'd know but I bet they are long gone.

Yeah they are, so its to late. Im not accusing anyone of anything either just saying that is a possibilty, running a business isnt easy but these are extreamly dirty like I can clean them at my friends house and drive home and there already coated, and it looks like it beeded on my wheel like a water drop and dried. its Gnarly
