Default Kyb agx

I am considering put a set of KYB AGX shocks on my car (i don't have the money for koni's). Anyone have thoughts on these shocks?

I have them, with sportlines. As everyone says, they are not the best.... But they are much better than stock. Did what I wanted them to do. I know I will swap them out in a year or so and put them on my GF's car though. Once I can afford a Strano/Koni combo

They are "OK" shocks. I just don't like that it adjusts compression and rebound with one ****. If you are going to stick with stock springs then I would recommend Bilstein. I think the valving is pretty decent for stock springs and they are built better than the KYB's.

i thought that they were great on my old stang (R.I.P.)...
until i felt the KONI's on the Formula. after that, i would never go back.

but i agree they are good for the money, but i would consider Bilstein's instead.

the firm up real nice, but it is a really jerky drive, as opposed to the KONI's they firm up way more, and you dont sacrifice so much ride comfort/jerkyness. thats my $.02

KYB voids the warranty on the shock if you use lowering springs with them. So basically if you use the shocks for what they are meant for, you get slapped on the hand.

Like MadIceV8 said, they are good for the money. I have some on the front of my car with stock ride height springs and they are noticably better than stock, and it didn't break my wallet. I want to go to Koni's in the future though.

I have them on my car. Some time playing with the settings and driving have me loving them. I also have the pro kit springs on mine's.
