imo.. depends on the wheel and tire setup. low profile tires on 17" or larger looks good lowered quite a bit. stock 16's or drag rims I like the look sitting up more especially with skinnies and slicks as long as the front is a little lower than the rear it will look good. Problem with stock springs is they tend to have the front higher than the rear which just all round looks like ***.
my old v6 I used to run a GC setup and used to take it to the bump stops for photo shoots. Yes it rode like ****.. Love how it looked though. My old LT1 I had it lowered only mildly. Current LS1 Camaro is stock springs with Koni shocks on the lower front perch. No pics of the stance though. (pic in my sig is before the lowered nose with the Koni's) Looks fine for me as long as I don't run 17" rims. Too cheap these days so I stock with stock 16's or 15" drag rims.. lol.
My old v6 on the bump stops.. now this is low.

I dunno about slammed, but I prefer a nice lowering job. Stock ride height looks goofy to me. Really not trying to offend anybody with that, but to me it just does.

This is after...sorry no pics, went into the body shop right after the coilovers went on.

You get the idea, just off the jack, before settling and adjustment. Pics to come soon...

I think stock ride height looks like ***, i cant stand the way my car looks with stock ride height. Add wheels to it and it looks worse. Slammed also looks like ****, might as well get a truck or lowrider if you want that look.
1" to 1.5" drop seems to be the best way to go, not slammed or looking like a 4x4.

For those howling about poor ride quality from lowering springs, you might want to give cut stock springs a try. I went from Intrax springs that were rock hard and rode on the bumpstops to stock springs with 1.25 coils cut off the front and 1.5 coils cut out the back. Cutting the stockers ups the spring rate significantly but not to aftermarket spring specs. The difference is incredible. It's not a performance set up by any stretch of imagination but it is definitely a very decent and livable compromise between ride height and ride quality. It feels like stock but much tighter. I also modified the front upper shock mount as shown in https://ls1tech.com/forums/suspensio...ock-mount.html to eliminate any chance of bottoming out the front shocks. Of course, I also upgraded to KYB AGX shocks to handle the lower height and higher spring rate.
If I had to do it all over again, I'd cut only one coil off the fronts to get some camber back, but overall I'm more than satisfied with the way the car rides and handles.
