On my black SS I bought all red UMI stuff. Before putting everything on, and after thinking about it for a while, I ordered up a set of black SFC's for the same reason MeentSS02 mentioned. I didn't want to see red SFC's from the side of the car. I also odered up a black UMI K-member, but everything else will remain red.

The only items I'm not sure what color i'd like are tubular upper & lower control arms. I've held off on ordering those because I can't decide which color will look better up front.

When I start ordering more suspension stuff it'll be black. Like most that picked it, I don't want it to stand out when driving behind the car or looking at it.

its a "love it" over here. it seems more durable due to the texture as well, although that could be strictly appearance. its a good inbetween black and the anthracite.

you really have to see the hammertone in person to realize how good it looks.

How true you do need to see the color in person to appreciate it

And as far as durability the Black Hammertone has proven to be much more durable than the solid colors.......

it defintely seems to be more durable due to the texture than standard powdercoating.

I voted black to go with your car. If you really wanna make it look good though, I say get which ever color is cheaper and have it power coated orange to match your car

Always liked black on a street car. On a trailer queen red is cool though depending on the color of the car.

I've got all black under the car, but a red for the components under the hood. I may have some items power coated down the road, but probably not.

Depends on the car's color. I voted black because Hammertone Black is the color I went with on my car for all of my BMR stuff and it looks sick. I have a red strut tower brace that looks horrendous, though, but it was free so I'll keep it until I get the matching BMR one. Never seen anthracite suspension parts but knowing the color of anthrocite, I might have gone with that color if my car was white, orange, or a few other colors.

Also, my brother has a red 02 Z28 and he went with all red BMR suspension parts. I don't think it looks bad, but the reds aren't quite the same between the paint and the suspension, so it looks a little strange to me. I personally think black would have looked much more badass on his car. Black just really works well with almost any car color.
