z51 rear brakes on fbody?

Won't work! The Z51 caliper mounting brackets have a diff offset and mounting and will not bolt up to a F-bod, also the disc have a diff offst so they won't work as well. I had the parts and was going to give it a try but gave up. I had a 4 channel rear, it may be easer to deal with the diff offset on a 3 channel where you don't have the reductors and sensors at the wheels to deal with.

You don't want to.... the car already has plenty of rear brake on it.... No reason to make the rear brakes bigger it'll just add more rotational and unsprung weight.

Sams right! nothing to gain doing it. I have Wilwood 6 piston big disc on the fronts, was just wanting to fill up the wheels with the bigger 13" disc of the z51 on the rears just for looks, honest it's just about right now with just the C5 calipers and the GM performance ceramic pads on the rear, good balance, It seems like the F-bods with their light rearends have more brake than they need stock anyway.
