Default Why is half my car lower than the other?

I finally got around to messuring it after thinking about it for months and sure enough my passenger side is 1/2 inch lower than the drivers side. On flat level ground I measure from the ground to the top of the wheel well and its 1/2 inch off the front and back. Why would this happen? What will fix it? BTW this is on a 99' that has about 73,000 miles on it and everything is stock, no SLP suspension options. Thanks in advance.

Mark where the 4 tires were, turn the car around and measure again.

If it is still "wrong", I suspect your springs have settled on one side. I'm not sure of a good way to explain that one. Let us know what you find.

So is the only fix to replace the shocks?
