Either way it is a great kit and looks cool as well. One question for you though Steve, the way I measured and cut the factory lines both the unions ended up almost staggering each other and the one is forward enough to not be behind the heat sheild and I actually had to notch the heat shield a hair to clear the line. Will this be acceptable? Without the motor in the car it is hard to see how close to the header it would be but I am sure being right up against the frame rail all should be good but I would like you input. Thanks again.

It's fine that they are staggered. They (exit lines) generally are cut a bit longer as depending on where the stock lines are cut, they will reach.

waterbug did you do yours with the engine in the car or out of the car? did you keep the stock braided lines or replace them with hard lines?

I can tell you he does not have the steel braided lines there anymore. They would be very visable from that picture.

Yea.. I did it while in the car.. It was a piece of cake.

Here is how it was originally, I did not like it so I just bought a fitting and some brake line and made my own. Instead of splitting right in the open, I hid it behind the heat shield so alls you really see are the two single line coming off the LL and proportioning valve.. I had to buy a flare tool as well which wasnt much money.

Its comes pre-set to respond like normal breaking... Just dont do what I did and turn the damn thing every which way while boozing it up, then go "o'****" where was it set at??? lol

I kept pushing the skinnies thru the beam so I gave it another turn and it fixed that problem, I think I might hve went too much though.

^^^ maybe with the proper tires on it that would not happen. You have no grip for braking at 90 with skinnies.

mine is kinda doing the same thing..sometimes when i come to a stop the brakes will pulsate. Honestly i dont think my abs ever worked because the few times i had to stop hard the brakes locked up but of course all i did was let off the pedal a lil and it straightened out

Did mine motor in car 3 years ago similar to waterbug1999's original setup. Motor is out of the car now so I'm gonna clean it up & get the "T"s down on the frame behind the heat shield. I lost the instructions for my flare tool, what are the 2 little seperate black buttons marked 1/4 & 3/16 for? Thanks for the help.

They are the first thing you use with the flare tool. The 3/16 is for the lines down on the rail. The 1/4 is for the lines that are larger coming out of the master cylinder.
