yeah, i really doubt its that. but i will know for sure when i get my shocks in. hopefully they will be here in a couple weeks.

No worries, they are in stock. You should get them right before or right after Christmas (probably Xmas Eve).

Those shocks will be awesome either way, I was just thinking if someone that drives a car with independent rear suspension would think a solid axle car would feel just like described as in hopping side to side over bumps. The OP did say he never even noticed it untill someone else pointed it out.
Oh well you will be super happy with the new shocks and Im sure it will help a ton!

UPDATE...the shocks arrived earlier than expected, Monday 22 Dec. i just got them installed today. they really make a difference from my 107k mile decarbons. no more side steppin over bumps. i plan on ordering stranos front solid sway bar in a couple weeks.

Sounds like I need some of those shock. My car does the same movement over bumps.

^^^well konis are the top of the line shocks and good if you plan on lowering your ride. but i dont plan on lowering, so i just went with the bilsteins. and i love them. good luck man.
