Default Front rotor question??

Installing my new irotor rotors. The rears I had no problem. Now on the front after installing the front rotor and putting the calipers and pads back on, the rotor doesn't spin freely through the pads like the old rotor. It takes some force to turn it. Will this correct itself or what do I need to do? Help.

Mike

It's fine. The new rotors will be a little thicker than the old ones since they havent been worn down. The pads are meant to always "touch" the rotors slightly, it's just how they work. Thats how mine work at least

The pads will readjust themselves once you start moving. If they are overheating, come back and we will try to help.

Did you compress the caliper pistons when installing the front rotors? Did you put new pads in when you replaced the rotors, or kept the existing pads?
