SLP Torque Arm?

SLP Torque Arm? hey, my buddy has a brand new torque arm from SLP that hes willing to give me a good deal on, he sold his car before he put it on and its jsut been sitting in his garage since...
my other friend is saying SLP tq arms dont so **** and not to waste my money (hes using a UMI) whats everyones feelings on this?
- ill be putting in on a 12 bolt with bmr non-adj LCAs... will DR within a yr or so

moser.. jsut looking im paying him basically the same price as bmr's non-adj tq arm... but slps is still like 420 on sale... now is this because slp is actually better or bmr jsut has a great product and deal (not knockin bmr but im hoping slp is better in this case lol)
But If your not Feeling the SLP, Get one of BMRs, The SLP will fit a 12 bolt and nine inch, just because its not double drilled doesnt meen it wont. The main problen anyone has had with TQ Arms and Moser is not having correct mounting hardware. Ive made a remaidy and sent to a few sponsers to help correct the problem. And improper installation and improper pinion angles will destroy any manufactures parts.

but besides that this will be jsut as strong/ stronger than umi/ bmr???
i like the slp, my friend jsut HATES them, and i usually trust what he has to say... jsut dont want to buy something that could break or could break something else (tranny mounts)

Wow they have gone up in price. I got mine for like 250 a few yrs ago. Ill make some more bushing and all hardware for a More so when you get one Ill send the stuff for Install. SLP dont make thier suspension parts. They contract to another company. Last I heard it was from a florida company. I dont think its BMR-LOL. Yes I know UMI has great customer service, But I think BMR has better quality on these parts. ADJ Tq Arms are great for tuning to get maximum bite at the track. Besides of the double holes on the mount, BMR has better rodends, But like I PMd you, those can be replaced If needed.
Any reason why he hates SLP? The first one I had lived under/behind a stroker with a A3 with a nine inch for a few yrs. As far as I know it did its job quite well, Ill PM you the guys name and ask him if you like. Im not trying to sell you one product from another. Just want anyone get thier moneys worth and feel confident with what you got and no regrets.

Verdad Gallardo Well they are all pretty much equally strong. It will mainly come down to pricing and availability. The only problems I have seen with aftermarket TQ Arms are rear mount failures. And it was probley on moser rears, from people over torquing hardware to the point of metal fatigue. Now not to make it worse, but UMI and BMR will better serve you on any problem since they are the maker of thier product. So thats SLP-0, And SLP instuctions do suck so if you have never worked with any suspension. It will **** you off. Ryan-UMI, and Lee-BMR, are always on here to help anyone even if you are not thier customer. Where UMI and BMR mainly shine over the SLP part are the rodends they both use. SLP looks cheap.
