Default Strut Nut Rusted, Replacement Needed

Anyone have the part number on the front strut nut, that holds the top of the strut to the coil over? Mine is rusted solid. Can I just pick a grade 8 nut up at Lowes, if so anyone got the specs? Thanks

Its 011517996 $4.95 each , if you need to replace the rubbers(with the studs attached at the top of the strut) bring your checkbook. ouch $195 EACH!!

if your not replacing your struts, i would leave those nuts alone, you will probably not get the old one off without destroying the threads on the strut.

I hope your not talking about strut mounts. I can see if their Gm strut mounts, but you can find them way cheaper. Just ordered new ones for 60 a piece. If you need to order new ones let me know I have a link to them.

Me and my buddy ran into this same problem last weekend while swapping his pro kit/KYBs in. Highest impact we had couldn't break the nut free. Ended up cutting the shock off and bought new mounts. Just like mentioned before, GMs mounts are way too expensive if you have to buy new ones.
