Default Sub frames

Could I go to the track and run slicks without sub frames?? It would only be for a few times.. But I dont have my sub frames yet and I dont want my car to start ripping. Would it be ok??

You'll be fine, it would take a lot more than that to rip the car apart.

If your referring to Nittos, those things aren't grippy enough to be even close to worrying about that.

Hello
The mustangs have that problem when people overlook the essentials. I am actually surprised it didn't mess up the door pins too... You will be fine just don't forget when you can get a set!
Take it easy!

Tip: Make sure that when you do install the subframes that the shop welds them in on a lift where the suspension is loaded (a drive on lift). They should disconnect the battery too.

i agree, the bolt on Sub frame connectors aren't as good but you can get the ones that are bolted then welded

Just for clarification, why is this?

Also, my car was ran pretty hard I'm assuming before I got it. I know it saw quite a few track passes, without SFCs. This is the result:

And quite a few other cracks from flexing all around the hatch area. Also about 5-8 dimples on the rear quarter per side.

I would get the SFCs before running it hard.

The cracks you are experiencing are not from lack of subframes.

Think of it this way look at where the subframe adds addition chassis support and look at where the cracks are.

The only loading that portion of the car receives is from the springs and shocks being exercised during a launch or handling maneuvers and subframes are not going to aid in that area.
