Default Why do my rear springs rattle?

I removed the rear boot from atop the springs and replaced it with the heater hose idea that everyone has said and done. For some reason they still rattle around and the noise makes my car sound like a piece. How can I fix this without having to re-install the boot?

Did you sleeve an entire coil and then some?

Mine rattle with no hose and no boot but with the hose it's dead quiet and it's been four years.

I guess I should wrap the whole coil. I only wrapped like 1/2 of it because I thought the idea was to make the top flush with where it touches on the car.
