Unless Koni just makes a price change due to changes in the exchange rate. Last increase was +10% because the dollar tanked vs the Euro. This sale I suspect is on because the Euro tanked against the dollar and is basically 14.25% off, so the cost is actually less now than it was before the last price increase back in September of '08.

I can't say what will happen on 7/1 when the sale is over. Unless there is a price change overall from Koni I have to assume the prices will go back to their previous levels.

Here's a pic of my Firehawk. It sits a little lower in the front than most for some reason. I wish it sat a little bit higher so there wasn't as much rake to it.

Yeah Konis are expensive. Save up a little more. You will be happy with them.

Beginning of April. I got your order, but your credit card expiration date is not correct (thinking 1/07 won't work).

I left a voicemail. Just get me a correct exp. date and you'll have a set held specificially for you and they'll ship as soon as they arrive at my shop.

FYI: Update on the next shipment's "Sold" sets. 35 of approximately 100 sets are spoken for as of today.

Sam,

I know you highly recommend Konis, but is there anything else out there you'd recommend for someone running your springs on a tight budget?

You just caught me leaving for my trip...

It depends on how well you want things to work, and for how long you want them to work well. Not pulling my punches, Koni's are the best, period and this is not a place to get cheap if you can afford not too.

I sell a lot of KYB AGX's, and Bilstein HD's (though I use a specific rear shock that nobody else does because it's better IMO). Neither of those are ideal, but workable understanding you give up quality, composure with the AGX's, and damping control with the Bilstein. There are shocks that aren't useable, period.

I agree on both counts . The koni's are an expensive mod but if you are looking for the single best mod period you can do for your suspension that's it. The strano springs are nice as well, I really appreciate the linear spring rates compared to the similar progressive rate springs I had from hotchkis. I really don't feel I lost much if any ride quality either.

hey sam, got a question for ya. i will be going to the track a few times a month what would you recommend doing to the koni 4/4 for adjustment? btw i can't wait to get you sway bars in the next few wks. also, when i do own the big 3 (bars, shocks, springs) would you recommend taking the front bar off an adjusting the front shocks to softer?
