NEED HELP ASAP!! Front Shock Question
Hello,
Currently in the process of installing SLP Bilstein's on all corners.
I've got the first new front shock inside the spring and pretty much ready to go back in.
QUESTION; How far do I need to run the top nut down the shock's rod? Does it need to thread all the way down and reach a particular torque spec or do I need to run it down to match the amount of thread showing that the stock Decarbon had?
I need to complete this in the morning so I appreciate any help.

all the way down. torque it reasonably tight, but not too much. that sucker isn't coming off accidentally.
If you don't thread it down all the way it will make noise and not work properly. for instance, if you left an inch of thread, you'd have an inch of freeplay before the shock started doing its job.
