Gabriel Ultra Shocks
I'm sending my Koni's off to be rebuilt.
In the mean time, I have stock springs and Gabriel Ultra shocks in place.
For anyone looking for a good, CHEAP, replacement shock, these fit the bill just fine. though I can't comment on their long term durability (however, they do have a "lifetime warranty"- whatever that means)
It was about $130 bucks* for the set of four and the car is controlled, stable, safe feeling, handles as good or better than when the car was brand new.
*(I spent an additional $30 on front bumpstops)
Please be advised- I am in no way saying these are on the same level as bilstein or koni. and I am absolutely not endorsing these for use with anything other than stock springs.

...We DESTROYED my front shocks when we installed my Eibach Pro-Kit and I had to run to Advance(or Auto Zone...don't remember) to buy a cheap set. The Gabriel's are what I came home with and they've been on my car for a year now. The ride is rougher on a lowering spring, and far from ideal, but they will "work" until funds are available for better.
