Re: Good Caliper Paint
I used high-temp engine enamel (plastikote from pep boys). Just cleaned the calipers wiith parts cleaner, primed them, and painted them, After a year they still look good. No cracking or peeling, and they still have a nice gloss. I haven't gotten brake fluid on them, though. I don't know of any paints that will resist that.

I've used Rust-oleum gloss multi-purpose paint. Just cleaned the calibers with the etching wheel cleaner and then with brake cleaner. A couple of coats and looks great. No need to use anything special. I've used plain ol paint for years with great results.
And I've had my brakes rather warm before with no peeling

Foliatec makes some awesome stuff. It's german I believe. When you put it on it looks just like powdercoating. Doesn't require a clearcoat, and still protects/shines as well, or better than anything I've seen.
I found out that hard way that measuring the proper amounts makes it a lot easier when it comes to dry time... otherwise it takes way too long to dry.
