Default Sub-Frame Connectors PROBLEM

I'm planning on installing my Tubular UMI 3-point SFC's in a couple weeks but I noticed a little problem on my car's forward subframes. It looks like some jerk put too much pressure on the bolt slots and deformed the rails. This is the part where the bar nut slides over and two bolts hold the SFC plate flush against the forward frame rail (Pics below). I tried taking a pry bar to bend it back to shape but that's damn near impossible. So what can I do? Torch it? Hammer it?
Or is it no big deal since I CAN get the bolts to grab full threading on the bar nut. It would probably be fine, but I know I'd sleep better if the rail sat flush against the face of the SFC plate.

I got these kind...

Look at the flat plates toward the top of the pic. Those are supposed to sit flush against the frame rail.

And here's the damage.....

Maybe you could get a THICK steel plate, drill a couple of holes in it, put 2-3 fender washers and a nut up in the frame, pass a couple of bolts through the plate, thread them into the nuts, and "draw" the rails flat....

EDIT...
OK, I didn't look at the picture of the frame connectors first.....Use the "plate" on the front of the connector as the "plate" I described above.

Thumbs up SFC's

Hello
Thanks for your interest in UMI Performance! I noticed that you are looking into our 3 point SFC's! When installing them they come with a 5 inch bar nut which will form itself back into place. We have seen that problem time to time it could have been someone who over tightened a bolt or even someone might have used a jack there. If you have any other questions feel free to ask and I will be glad to help!
Thanks
Brad

These SFC's look like a great product. I was able to grab them when sponsors were running that 20% off deal a few months ago. As long as the frame rail forms back into place during the install as you say, then I think I should be good. Would you recommend gooping up the forward mounting plate with some sort of RTV silicone to keep water out and limit any friction?

Its a personal preference! If you want to put a silicone compound around the plate then that's fine. If you have any other questions feel free to ask and I will be glad to help!
Thanks
