Question Power Steering Rack and Pinion Input Seal replacement

Has anybody ever done this? I am referring to the one where the steering shaft goes down into the rack and pinion. The seal is fairly cheap and just looking at it from the outside, it doesn't look that hard. I see a snap ring retains it.

It's on a 98 WS6 BTW.

Anybody have access to Alldata and can post up the official procedures?

Thanks!

Nobody has done this? Everyone just chickens out and buys a rack?
