Lower perch and hose mod?

I've searched for about 45 min now and can't find anything about this mod. Is there a DIY on this mod or can someone explain what you used if you did this to your car? Any help would be appreciated.

The "lower perch" is for front koni single adjust shocks, they have a spring perch that can be lowered from stock height for a 3/4" drop.

Sorry to resurrect a month old thread. With the Koni shocks and the hose mod in back, does it affect what wheel sizes can be used?
