anyone have a lowered 98-02 z28 or ss? I have seen a couple and it looks pretty sharp. I think its something I may wanna do. Whats the best amount to go? I don't wanna slam it cuz I drive it every day and I do not wanna be hitting stuff all the time. Also what company has the best parts for this? Any advice is helpful. thanks.

If I had it to do over again I would lower it some, but less than
I did. -1" still makes me look carefully at every swale and speed
bump. Ride is tolerable but not as nice as factory. I would like to
find a set of those SLP Eibachs (-3/4").

Hello
When you lower a vehicle...depending on how much you will need a adjustable pan hard bar due to the rear end shifting. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask and I will be glad to help.
Thanks
Brad

Go as low as you want to, as long as you have the right springrate for it. More than 1.5 inches gets really close to the bumpstops and leaves little suspension travel left. Also, the problem with many of the 1.5 + drop springs available for our car is most have a springrate too low.
I'm partial to the Strano springs, 1.2 inch drop 550 front and 150 rear rates, lightweight materials, and a consistent drop unlike Eibachs and other springs out there that sag. With the konis, the car is extremely predictable and feels great. Still rides way more comfortably than a ton of cars that I've test driven on stock suspension.
Keep in mind everyone's opinion in ride quality and what you can tolerate can't be determined by asking people. Though you can find things out like how the sportlines are probably the most disliked spring here in many categories.
