Help changing shocks on 2000 Formula
Anyone know where I can find some simple instructions for my son? I have some new shocks for my 2000 Formula and I told him to dive in and install them. They are still in the box a month later!
I have had 3 back fusions in 4 places and triple neck fusion so wrenching is not possible now. And, I guess he did not pay attention when he used to help me in the garage.
I used to just jump and learn on my own, but kids today, have no idea what to do. THANKS to our National Teachers Assoc. and their insistence that shop class is no longer necessary, but sex education is! You can bet kids will jump and learn on their own in that regard!!!
Kids don't know what a damn Crescent wrench is anymore but they have been shown how to put on a f'ing condom on a cucumber!

Sounds like you're going to need to walk him through it while he's doing the wrenching.
IMO, start him out doing the rear shocks since they're easy. That way he'll build up some confidence before you have him do the front on a different day.
That's what I did with my son.
