brakes squeak like a Mother F------
I put on new rotors and pads all around about 5000 miles ago....
they squeak like hell when stoping...high pitch...and only when applying pressure to the brakes...
bought all the stuff from advanced auto.....
checked everything....
all is normal...no wierd wear or anything.....
randomly....a lot of the time they are pretty quiet....but man that squeal is annoying...
any ideas on what to do to fix it...
also I am looking for a really powerful wheel cleaner...to get off old grime on the rims....I hate using rags and fingers that I cant get into small places.......
they are white painted 89 corvette rims....painted to look like the aniversary rims...I might strip the paint and have em chromed.....

Did you grease up your slider pins and all contact areas. Also, did you clean off the oil coating on your rotors? You might have a glazed rotor surface. What I do at the shop is rough up the rotor surface on both sides and the noise usually goes away. Give that a try.

definitely try taking some sand paper to the rotors, might have a slick spot on them. always works for my friends, I have to do the same to my durango as my breaks are startin to squeal randomly as well....
