Summit Ceramic Pads

Has anybody ever tried these summit brand brake pads? They seem like an good deal at 30 a piece. Do they wear fast or something? Or are they just junk? Here is a link to them.

i have the ceramic ones from summit. they are made by power stop i believe because they say power stop on them. They work fine for me i suppose I dont have alot of miles on them yet.

I skimp money in a lot of places. Used exhaust headers. Home-made rear LCAs.

Brake pads aren't one of them. I pay full price for good ones. Carbotech Bobcats for the street and XP12s for racing. Yeah, it means $200 for street pads and $300 for racing, but the first time you slam the brakes and keep from hitting the guy in front of you, they pay for themselves. My insurance deductible is $500, so I figure I saved $300.

Although I never took the logic down quite as far, I fundamentally believe the same as 00_Trans_Ram. I don't skimp on brakes, period. I personally run Hawk HPS pads on Brembo blanks. Nothing less for me or my baby. JMHO.
