Wink

billyb, that picture's terrible!

99WS6,
Actually If I was running a factory height tire in the rear my rear ride height would be about 25.75" And my car rides good!
But that's because I'm running Airsprings with factory bumpstops cut down 1" and Edelbrock IAS shocks.

Since you have extra weight in the back of your car(me too about 140lbs), you might want to also consider some stiffer/taller rear springs(BMRs would work).
Some better shocks would help too.

Thumbs up

When you go to the dealer if he doesn't have them in stock he should be able to tell you if and other local GM dealer has them in stock.

Let us know how it turns out.

The SS/WS6 and Z28/V6/Formula stops are VERY different. Maybe now they've been superceded and drill down to one number, but they are not and were not the same OE.

As for this Synergy brand, I have no idea what billyb is talking about, but if it takes modification to install, I can see them being maybe worse than the SS/WS6 stops. Hell there are urethane stops that can fit (and could sell) but the GM versions are the best ones to stick with in my humble opinion.

Just an FYI. I just purchased some bump stops from the dealer today. He said there are very few left in GM parts system....somewhere around only 12 and have no contracts for anymore to be produced at this time. Not sure if he was BSing but I would check with a dealer ASAP just incase.

E.S. Part # 9.9137; you'll need to either trim the side of the bumpstop, or cut the lip off between the bolt holes where the BS mounts on the car.

Yeah, once you cut the lip off they bolt right up, but when you hit the bump stops, you'll know it!
Still a lot better than none at all!
FYI, You also can get new factory bumpstops on ebay

Yeah, I saw some OE bump stops just the other night on ebay.
You're correct the factory BS would be your best choice.

I'll let you know if I find any.
