Holy crap that stuff looks light. Any idea on how tough this stuff is gonna be? It seems like some of the parts might be a little under-designed for street/road-race use. That is, unless these are drag parts only (which I don't think they are due to the drop spindles). I'm really worried about the k-member. It really seems like it could use some extra strength. Also, where are the spaces for motor mounts?

Racecraft's stuff is really nice. I have a set of their dropped spindles on my third gen, and they are a work of art.

This setup is drag race only and is setup for motor plates.

strength shouldn't be an issue. all of these parts are made from chromolly steel. as madman said though, this is a drag race set-up.

Okay, that's why the parts looked so lightweight. I was a bit confused because of the drop spindles and everything else seemed like it was meant for lowering the car and used for handling purposes.

And Mad-steve, just because it's chrome-moly doesn't mean it's strong. It just means that it's slightly lighter, but also MUCH more hard and brittle than regular steel. Associating chrome-moly with pure strength is never a good thing.

No. It has about the same density. It ends up weighting less because less material is used due to its higher strength.

I think the Madman product looks great. Its a drag racing set up.

This kit still offered by you guys right? I'm thinking about offloading all my new BMR stuff and switch to this setup, the whole thing shocks included. I like the narrower A-arms, shock brackets, etc. This would still be considered legal for stock suspension classes right madman? Anyone else running this on their car yet?

Dan
