Just ordered me a set through Scoggin Dickey! Can't wait to get them probably next week! Hopefully they will ride better than my Prokit, and I will also take pics with measuring tape so people can see before and after.

byunspeed has these for $174 and free shipping.
Was gonna order strano's but the availibility and "made here in the states" swayed my choice.

Glad to hear that!! It's nice when you can have Made In The USA quality and still have low prices, isn't it?

Is that why you drive a Mustang?

Oh wait.

The availability (and price) arguments win though I guess.

? If I wanted to buy a made in USA car, it would probably be something other than from the big 3. They dont really make cars here anymore. Toyota honda subaru lexus infinity amongst others are made here.

My 2000 dodge 4x4 - made in mexico
My 1997 toyota 4x4 - made in fremont california.

The price was not really a consideration but made here was.

Pics are going to have to wait a bit. While putting the spring, shock, and shock mount together today, the shaft of the shock snapped off about half way down the threaded portion.

The guy doing the work was having difficulty getting the adjustment window lined up with the spring so that I could get to it. Everytime he tried to screw the bolt down, it'd turn in the spring causing it mis-align. So, he backed off the spring compressor just a bit to put a little pressure on the shock hoping it wouldn't turn and that's when the shaft snapped.

To make matters worse, Koni can't get a replacement out 'til the 24th.

It wasn't the shops fault, although they feel pretty bad. I read a post on here sometime in the past where the same thing happened to someone else. I kinda felt bad for them as they already had the driver side done and had to put all of my stock components back on so I could drive the car. They spent a good couple hours only to undo everything.

Oh well... crap happens. I'll get pics provided when Koni delivers the replacements.
