Default lowering?

hey guys i recently posted a thread about my car being uneven on the passenger and driver side. the passenger side seems to be lower and the wheels more tucked in than the driver side. i dont like the look at all. one guy had said it was normal and an adjustable panhard bar would fix it. i kinda wanna lower my car and was wondering if this would fix the problem as well?

also what is needed to lower the car correctly? and what size tires are most people running with lowered camaros. i dont wanna go way low maybe just like 1" or 1.25".

If you want a 1"-1.25" drop I would recommend the Stranos or BMR. Most people will tell you to go with the Stranos. Sam knows his stuff and can give you any info you are asking for. The adjustable panhard bar centers the rear end under the car and keeps it from moving side to side. The only problem with the Strano springs is actually getting them. If you are interested I would suggest you contact him and get on the list as I believe they are still back ordered. The other thing you may need is the LCA relocation brackets. They help reduce wheel hop and lost traction due to lowering the car. Sam Strano is a sponsor on here by the way so he is usually available by PM or by phone.

there's also another option available other than a panhard bar, especially if you're really into helping to make your car handle better....and that's a watts link. the watts link will help to not only center the rear end from side to side, and prevent it from moving from side to side during cornering, but it will also make the car handle much better than a panhard bar can, especially when the suspension is compressing/rising during cornering.

the only downside to the watts link is the price ($650) and the extra weight, but to me, the better handling is well worth it. Sam Strano sells the watts links for our cars.

i would talk with him and he can help you get what you need for your goals for the car.

Hello
From what I have heard that Gm offset the motor and trans for clearance issues! And this problem is normal with all of them. And all a pan hard bar will do is recenter the rear under the vehicle when a vehicle is lowered. Hope that helps.
Thanks
Brad

Seriously the best way to level it out is to sit in the car.

Changing springs will not solve the lean. I swapped from stock to Strano's and the car still sits higher in the drivers side by maybe a 1/4" -1/2".

ok lol i guess imma have to sit in the car. i just dont like it cuz im looking at it when im not in the car maybe i need to get someone to sit in there and see how it looks than. i'll just have to deal with it.

does it even sit lower on the front becuz mine does. and is it just cuz its lower thats making it look like the tires are tucked under more. im just trying to figure it out and make sure nothing is wrong. i can deal with it like that just dont wanna mess anything up.
