have a umi k-member on mine along with a full setup of a arms and torque arm from umi

great product and i would say incredibly strong (in my opinion i tested on accident unfortunatly had the back 2 bolts on and was trying situate it when my lift malfunctioned and picked up the motor and k member with only the back 2 bolts attatched, i was terrified that i bent the back 2 plates but it didnt) just a testiment to the strenght of their product

I have selected all my suspension from UMmmmmmI except the sway bars and that because they don't produce them not becuase they have problem with sway bars !!, really gr8 products .. don't forget the great customer services and the kind man ( Ryan )

I bought a BMR, and very happy with it. I looked into them alot, and the UMI isn't even that much lighter for the about of money your spending. If you wnat the strongest just keep the stock, I dont see why you's buy a Kmember with twice the tubes and braces making it all big with not at much room to work. When there ones Like the PAracing that only have one front tube the curves up the the front cradle bolt with no braces. And between the cradle bolts just has a flat bar of metal going front to back to the frame holes, not even a tube. And thats fine on a ton of guys. But it you gona " be safe and get somthing strong" your stock is gona be the strongest. Gte a fiberglass hood then or somthing else.
The BMR was the the best, 100's maybe thousands? of guys drive them fine on the street daily drivers, I only found like 3 people that cracker them and it was 5 years ago, and they changed and added a brace in that spot. It still saves a lot of wieght 26-27#'s on my car. And I got mine local from NewEra that has them instock, great price $445. I have some pics, and some more Kmeber instaill info I posted here. I drove it across the country 22hrs, and daily on the NY roads nd its been fine, this is the 2nd year now.

The UMI road race one is only like 13-15, they list the saving with there arms making the Kemeber look lighter then it is. The uppers dont save any weight, lowers only like 7#s that a huge $/weight. I run the stock still. The Spohns you have to buy there egine stands thats alot more $$$$, plus add that to there Kmebers weight. BMR has them on the Kmemebers. The other race Kmebers are more for if you run a motor plate. There is some really nice ones out there, the racecraft stuff it top notch, Burkhart is nice too.

Actually our K-member offers quite a bit of additional room over the factory unit. When we built and designed this set-up we weren’t dumb… we added the additional bracing is areas that would NOT be affected for clearance. Bracing was added in areas where other K-members have failed. Our K-member offers enough room to run the APS turbo Kit and other custom turbo set-ups… the factory will not allow this. Our K-member also offers additional room for headers and larger size headers. It also features additional adjustment for alignment and reduces front end weight by 25 lbs (Raod race version 22 lbs). Is it the lightest K-member on the market? No… but that wasn’t our goal. Our goal was offer a street-able unit designed to handle pretty much anything thrown at it and we achieved this. Our K-member can also be purchased with out motor mounts for vehicles running a motor plate.

 

Today I received my UMI in Saudi Arabia really gr8 collecting .. all the required bolts , bushings , grease, alignment gauge and Installation Manual .. thanx UMI .. and here is two pics

For Your information , making it lighter will make it cost less in producing for UMI !! .. but it will cost more for your life when it is break cause others lightwieght by 5 lb ??? .. that's my opinion

I wanted UMI because i like UMI prices, but i found a good deal on a lightly used brm one. They all are good! Just get what you can find the best deal on

 

i had a full umi suspension on my 94 z and they have great customer service and fast shipping i just spoke to someone about the solid motor mount k member im waiting on them to release that one til i get a k member hopefully it wil be out soon
